Mizuki Brent, on her first experience competing at the Junior Olympics:

"In July, I went to the AAU Junior Olympics (JO) in Virginia.  I trained really hard to prepare for the competition.  I had a lot of fun working with Tony senpai, Michael senpai, Katherine senpai, Alfonzo Gomez Jr. senpai, and Brandon senpai.  The training was hard and painful, but after it was all over, thinking back, it wasn’t that bad.  It was worth it because I knew that I would get better and improve the things I needed to fix.  After the last training with everyone for the JO, I knew that I would do well in the tournament.  And I did!"
